Einstiegsqualifikation | Gymnasium / Sekundarstufe (oder höher) 1. Applicants are required to be over the age of 18 in the year of application (by December 31). There is no upper age limit. 2. Applications are accepted from graduates of accredited high schools or colleges/universities. According to the decision of the Admission Committee of the Faculty, students who have failed in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or English Language in the final year of their high school studies are not entitled to apply to the programme. Applicants are also eligible to submit their application and sit for an entrance examination if they are in their final year but have not received the School Leaving Certificate or Diploma yet. In this case, applicants must present proof that they are attending high school. 3. Applicants are required to sit for an entrance examination. Applicants are allowed to participate in a maximum of two examinations in one application period if the chance is offered by the Faculty. 4. Holders of the following degrees can be exempted from sitting for the entrance examination: GCE A2 levels IB Diploma BSc Degree Die Zulassungsunterlagen werden in folgenden Sprachen akzeptiert: Englisch. Entsprechende Leitungsnachweise können in den meisten Fällen von Ihrer Schule ausgestellt werden. Sonstige Voraussetzungen | Mindestens 1 Referenz/en soll/en angegeben werden. Ein Motivationsschreiben muss Ihrer Bewerbung hinzugefügt werden. Please write down different motivation letters for each programme you are interested in. Transfer from other Universities Students who have successfully pursued pharmaceutical studies at other accredited universities in English language can apply for admission without being obliged to take an entrance examination. Preconditions of transfer are set by the Faculty. Admission to an upper year might be possible if subjects of previous studies are identical or at least 75% similar to the curriculum of the University of Szeged. Please note that at least 50 % of the student’s complete pharmaceutical studies must be fulfilled at the University of Szeged. Detailed information on the relevant curriculum and the study plans is available at Transfer students might be subject to take evaluation examinations in certain subjects. Evaluation examinations are organized individually. Detailed information about the examination dates and exam registration will be sent to the applicant after the submission of all application documents. |

Übersicht
The Academic program offered by the Faculty of Pharmacy begins with an introduction to the basic sciences providing a basis for further pharmaceutical studies. In the second part of the program, students take part in general and special pharmaceutical education at the university departments, teaching pharmacies, institutes, hospitals and clinical pharmacies, laboratories, and pharmaceutical works. The faculty seeks to educate its undergraduates by promoting their intellectual development and their progressive accumulation of competence in all fields of modern pharmacy. After the successful completion of the program the title of Doctor Pharmacy is awarded (pharmacist, PharmD). The quality of the training is outstanding compared to similar Hungarian and European pharmacist training centers. The Faculty takes part in international research activities too. The training material is continuously updated considering the most recent research results.

Programmstruktur
The program provides students with the understanding of the relevant fields of biology, chemistry and physics, medicine, and professional pharmacy subjects. During the course of the program, there is also a focus on developing skills, such as technical knowledge, dexterity, communication and computer skills.
