About the Programme
Students from Indonesia are more than welcome to join our Faculty from the next academic year.
Béla Bartók Faculty of Arts at the University of Szeged which dates back over 125 years
and is one of leading higher education institutions in Hungary. In addition to offering
Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in Performance as well as Music Education, our
International Performing Faculty ensures that the long legacy and rich traditions of
Hungarian music is carried on. The University of Szeged welcomes many international
students every year. It holds multiple annual cultural and music festivals, so many refer to
Szeged as a “festival city”. The city of Szeged itself is liked for its reasonable prices for a
big city, and distances that are manageable even by walking Szeged is also a home to
many cultural events, such as the famous Open-Air Theater, numerous festivals and
exhibitions.
