Entry qualification | High school / secondary education (or higher) 1. Applicants are required to be over the age of 17 in the year of application (by December 31). 2. According to the decision of the Admission Committee of the Faculty pf Pharmacy, students who have failed in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or English Language in the final year of their high school studies are not entitled to apply. 3. You can also complete your online application if you are in your final year but have not received your School Leaving Certificate or Diploma. In this case, you must prove that you are attending high school. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. It is required that you send verified copies (not the originals) of the entry qualification documents directly to the university by postal mail only after the acceptance! |

Overview
About the Programme
The 8-month preparatory program is designed for students who feel unprepared for the five-year long Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree program, or who need help improving their English language to prepare for the entrance examination.
The structure of the preparatory program:
The first four months provide comprehensive English Language training and an introduction to Hungarian Language and Culture. The second four months include basic natural sciences such as Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics together with additional English Language. Successful completion of the program provides an exemption from the entrance examination for pharmacy training.
Basic subjects: English Language, Hungarian Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Medical and Pharmaceutical Terminology

Who should apply?
Students who wish to apply to the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) programme but do not meet the required B2 level of English proficiency, feel unprepared for the programme, or need support in reviewing basic sciences are encouraged to apply.
